This is a true VNTG fairytale story.
Meet our friends, Art and Judy. We met these two lovebirds in September of 2018. They had lived in their beautiful Lyndhurst home for 50 years together, raising children and filling the home with love and laughter. Judy still clearly remembers the day she found the lot, called the builder, and designed the home that they would live in. But after all that time, with their children grown and scattered across the country, Art and Judy had decided that it was time to move on. When they contacted VNTG Home, they were planning on downsizing to a small apartment but needed some help with the logistics of cleaning out their old home and getting it sold.
VNTG came in and formed a cohesive plan to make Art and Judy’s transition as easy as possible. First, they decided together what would be making the move to the new place and what would be left behind. VNTG Home helped move everything over in a seamless transition while creating a comfortable space for Art and Judy to live beautifully in their new home. They slept at their old home on Monday and were settled in to sleep at their new place by Tuesday night.
Once Art and Judy were moved, VNTG Home came in to clean out the place of whatever had been left behind. Some of the older furniture was reupholstered and restored to perfection. Then, the VNTG Place team came in and remodeled the home. Many aspects were updated and the home was turned into a VNTG masterpiece. Afterward, we staged the house, even using some of the furniture that we had restored from the older furnishings. We had professional photography done for the REALTOR ® so the property would be ready to market.
After hosting a VNTG Open House where we invited thousands of local REALTORS ® to come to view the home and a VNTG Open to the public event inviting VNTG Home’s 13,000 customers to attend, the home sold. Just two short days after it was listed on the market.
35 short days after we met Art and Judy, their home went from 50 years full and tired to restored and SOLD! And that is how VNTG takes clients from overwhelmed to overjoyed.
